After a season-opening victory at Creighton and a few days off for the Thanksgiving holiday, the Drake Bulldogs returned to action on Saturday in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Saturday's contest would reunite Drake and UW-Green Bay, two programs that had not faced one another since 2016. The Bulldogs would fall in a hard-fought contest in the Badger State, 69-61, and drop to 1-1 on the season.

Below are the postgame notes from Drake's outing at UW-Green Bay.

Postgame Notes:

  • Drake out-rebounded Green Bay 40-31, including 17-5 on the offensive glass. The Bulldogs own a plus-9.0 rebounding margin in their first two games.

  • With their six made three's on Saturday, Drake has now made at least one three-pointer in 321-straight games dating back to 2011.

  • Drake outscored Green Bay's bench, 17-8.

  • Senior Maddie Monahan played in her 100th career game and scored a team-high 16 points on Saturday. The Silver Lake, MN native has now scored in double-figures in 20 career games, including six-straight, dating back to the 2019-20 season. Monahan made her 98th-consecutive career start and has dished out an assist in 95 career games. The senior is 7-of-7 from the free throw line this season, and in the last eight games (dating back to 2019-20) is 37-of-43 (86.1%) at the charity stripe. The senior also surpassed 600 career points.

  • Redshirt junior Kierra Collier grabbed a career-high nine rebounds at Green Bay, surpassing the career-high she set in Drake's season opener at Creighton (7). Along with her nine rebounds, Collier also scored 10 points. The Kansas City native has now scored in double-figures in 13 career games at Drake. Collier also nabbed three steals for the second game in-a-row.

  • Graduate senior Monica Burich scored eight points and hauled-in seven rebounds on Saturday. That puts Burich at exactly 300 points in her Drake career. Burich leads the team in rebounding (9.0 RPG).

  • Redshirt sophomore Grace Berg scored 10 points at Green Bay, and still leads the team in scoring (17.0 PPG).

  • Senior Hannah Fuller played in her 98th career game and made her sixth career start on Saturday.

  • Junior Allie Wooldridge scored eight points and snagged six rebounds in a career-high 30 minutes of action. Wooldridge connected on two three-pointers, putting her career total at 14.

  • Freshman Courtney Becker impressed in her Drake debut, scoring five points and grabbing eight rebounds in 18 minutes.

  • Junior Maggie Negaard scored her first points of the season (4) at Green Bay.

  • Saturday marked the 8th all-time meeting between Drake and Green Bay, and the first meeting between both programs since 2016.

  • Redshirt senior Mya Mertz was the lone Bulldog to play in the previous meeting between Drake and Green Bay.
