Bulldogs Land Grace Knutson
32 days. That's all the time Grace Knutson needed to make it official.
Receiving a scholarship offer from head coach Allison Pohlman on June 24, the 5'10" guard from Cedar Falls announced her verbal commitment to Drake on Twitter. Knutson joins Peyton McCabe in the Bulldogs' 2024 class. The dynamic shooting guard recently capped a successful summer on the AAU circuit with the All Iowa Attack.
As a sophomore at Cedar Falls High School, Knutson paced a young squad by scoring 12.4 points per game. Connecting on 37 percent of her shots from the floor, Knutson drained 43 triples at a 32 percent clip. A versatile scorer and all-round talent, the 5'10" guard additionally brought down 5.6 rebounds per contest, delivered 2.4 assists per game and nabbed 39 total steals. Hailing from a basketball family, Knutson's older brother (Joe) plays collegiately at Truman State.
